Successful drone event with NI Water & our BIM Consultants.
Pentagon Solutions and NI Water hosted by RPS held a UAV Drone Technology Event with 40 Engineers attending.
This was a fantastic event demonstrating how Northern Ireland Water use Drone surveys for reservoirs. David Ardis from NI Water covered all the flight planning, legal aspects and drone flying.
David Gawley from Pentagon Solutions explained how the data was then processed to a format that was used for reservoir volumetric calculations. David also covered how Drone technology and outputs should be used in BIM projects for verification and asset records.
