Job Title: Software Developer

Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

Base Location: Belfast

Company Profile: Pentagon Solutions is a leading provider in the UK and Ireland of BIM Consultancy, CAD technologies and Engineering content & asset management solutions. 

Role: Pentagon Solutions would like to recruit a Software Developer to work within our Development Team to assist with delivering bespoke applications and solutions. 

We are seeking candidates who have knowledge and experience in:

Essential

• Software Development using C#.NET
• Microsoft .NET Framework / .NET Core
• Visual Studio IDE

Preferred

• Development using Azure platform and technologies
• SQL database design and development
• Using GIT repositories for source code management
• Software Testing – methodologies and tools
• Production of technical documentation
• JavaScript development
• ASP.NET
• VB.NET

Nice To Have

• Development of add-ins for 3rd party applications using SDK’s
• Support of production custom-developed systems
• jQuery

• Ability to present and explain ideas
• Ability to complete work as specified and on time
• Experience in communicating progress, risks or concerns to aid the success of a project
• Willingness to learn and improve as new platforms and technologies evolve

The primary location for the role will be based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. However, the candidate may be required to work in various locations throughout the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate may be required to work as part of the wider Pentagon team in an office environment supporting the success of our many customer projects.
